The Millennial generation are the now generation

The Millennial generation are the now generation,

They want it now, and they want it to come to them; so your recruitment strategy, your on-boarding and probationary period all have target their needs or they won't work for you. 

This generation would rather not have a job, than work in an organisation that does not meet their needs. 

So what do we know about employing Millennial?

The average time they spend in one job is 12 - 18 months


It's never entirely their fault that their careers are not moving as fast as they want. 


They believe that they are required to do more with less, and they are the only one's that can keep up with technology.


Millennials will leave a job if you don't give them a clear career path, strong direction and leadership
They will leave a job for a promotion, and/or if they perceive another employer will invest more time in them. 

Finding and Employing Millennials is extremely difficult because they network jobs,

They seek out Employers Of Choice, they do due diligence on a Company. 


But don't let any of this put you off employing them; because they are an investment in the future of your business, but don't expect to manage them like you have managed previous generations.
