About the role

Help us innovate to meet the challenges of our growing cities by

  • General customer contact for the business:
  1. Resolve, or
  2. Redirect to the relevant team member
  • Assist Resource Coordinators with:
  1. scheduling of developer inspections, disinfections and shutdowns
  2. managing scheduling exceptions
  • Stakeholder management - clear communications with customers, WSCs, Networks Area teams and Civil Delivery
  • Logistic support for plant and large equipment
  • Prepare notices to customers for shutdowns
  • Resolve rebate exceptions, and planned to unplanned MAXIMO exceptions
  • Administrative support for the business (eg manual overtime claims, invoicing, purchasing, attendance reporting and exceptions)
  • Prepare agendas and minute meetings for Operational Services team

About you

  • A Certificate IV Water Industry Operations (General), or ability to obtain within two years of appointment,
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business support
  • A solid understanding of the application of computerised system and/or maintenance and/or process management systems
  • Advanced communication skills (verbal and written) and personal qualities (innovative, motivation, self-confidence and tact) including ability to translate technical outcomes to operational needs.
  • Skills and experience in dealing with customer, stakeholder and regulator issues
  • Experience in using online systems to dispatch work to field crews
  • Knowledge in how networks are operated to deliver water, recycled water, wastewater, and stormwater product and services to meet customer and stakeholder expectations
  • Knowledge of the appropriate regulatory, operating licence, and customer contract requirements
  • Knowledge of MS Office systems
