Brush up on your multi skills and get a job offer

The demand for multi skilled staff is increasing in the aftermarth of the GFC...

If you read our job adverts you can see evidence of this trend.

Employers are now looking for staff that can cross over into all sorts of roles.. if you are prepared to do this.. and if you upskill your basic skills... you are are highly valuable to the right employer.

Our thought for the day:

I don’t know what the key to success is, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.

Strengths and weaknesses, we all have them

We all have strengths and weaknesses, we love to tell everybody about our strengths, but we hide our weaknesses.

This in its self.. is a major weakness, and not a good trait for a prospective employee to display..

Recruiters need to know what your weaknesses are, because if you get the job, your new employer needs to know how to manager you.. thats if you want the job to be long term and satisfying.

If you don't want to be honest, and you only want a short term job..  keep your weaknesses to yourself..

Our advice... admit your weaknesses..  and enjoy your new job, it only takes 3 weeks before your weaknesses are exposed.
